Carry Christ’s Love to Malawi’s Children

Sometimes they stay home for a whole month. We do not send our children to school when they are weak with hunger.

Rute (Yamikani’s mother)

For many children in rural Malawi, each day begins with a difficult journey just to reach school. Long distances, hunger, and physical hardship stand in the way of their education. Now, after floods and cyclones have swept through their communities, that path is even more difficult.

Watch the video below to hear Yamikani’s* story, and how, with your support, the Church in Malawi is bringing hope and opportunity to children like him.

Today, your gift can:

Help build school classrooms

Provide hearty and nutritious meals for students so they can grow strong, and feel energised and focused

Purchase essentials like books, pencils and uniforms, so that no child is left without

Plant neem trees to protect the community from severe weather.

This World Mission Month Pope Leo XIV calls us to be “One in Christ, United in Mission”, standing with all people, simply because they are beloved children of God.

Your compassion today is an act of mission; born in love, lived in love and leading to love.

…it has given them a sense of hope going forward to say they’re not left alone. That they’re with the Church, they’re with God, and God comes to them through other people.
